I have been praying much, since returning from the End-Time Handmaidens and Servants World Convention in St. Louis, about what the Lord would have me write. I awakened early this morning to share the story of the last great revival in all Israel. I want to quote out of the Bible, but will have to abbreviate much of the story. Read it carefully, and meditate on it. Then read it in its entirety in your Bible:

AN END-TIME CALL TO COME BACK TO GOD: “And Hezekiah wrote letters and sent them to all Israel and Judah, that they should come to the house of the Lord at Jerusalem [St. Louis, MO], to keep the Passover [End-Time Handmaidens & Servants World Convention] unto the Lord God of Israel. So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the Passover unto the Lord God of Israel at Jerusalem [St. Louis, MO]: for they had not done it of a long time in such sort as it was written. So the posts went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, Ye children of Israel [End-Time Handmaidens and Servants], turn again unto the Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and he will return to the remnant of you, that are escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria. And be not ye like your fathers, and like your brethren, which trespassed against the Lord God of their fathers, who therefore gave them up to desolation, as ye see. Now be ye not stiffnecked, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves unto the Lord, and enter into his sanctuary [come to the World Convention], and serve the Lord your God, that the fierceness of his wrath may turn away from you. So the posts passed from city to city through the country: but they laughed them to scorn, and mocked them. Nevertheless some humbled themselves, and came. Also, the hand of God was to give them one heart to obey the word of the Lord.

And there assembled at Jerusalem [St. Louis, MO] a very great congregation. And the good Lord pardoned every one that prepared his heart to seek God, the Lord God of his fathers, though he be not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary. And the Lord healed the people. And the children of the Lord that were present at Jerusalem [St. Louis, MO] were filled with great gladness: and praised the Lord day by day, singing with loud instruments unto the Lord. And the speakers spake comfortably unto all the good knowledge of the Lord: and they did eat throughout the feast five days, giving generous offerings. And strangers came from many nations, and rejoiced. So there was great joy in Jerusalem [St. Louis, MO], for since the former times of visitation there was not the like. And the Lord blessed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy dwelling place, even unto heaven” (2 Chronicles 30:1-27).

ONE MORE TIME: Yes, it was like the Golden Days, when the Spirit of the Lord fell upon us, times we will always remember with nostalgia. The Glory of the Lord filled the Marriott Hotel one more time. Many of us will never be the same any more. All of the speakers and singers were powerfully anointed by the Holy Spirit to bring a timely word straight from heaven, and the singers and musicians lifted us up to the very throne of God. ALL OF THE MUSIC WAS BEAUTIFUL, AND ANOINTED. The “angel-dancer,” Jessica Orsak, spun like a top, her face aglow with the love she has in her heart for Jesus. My granddaughter, Cola, who was married to Daniel Enriquez at the last convention four years ago, returned to dance and interpret the beautiful song “When I’m With You” by Klaus Kuehn. She and Danny brought my great granddaughter, Elizabeth Jasmine, with them. They are youth pastors in a church in Texas.

ANGELS ON ASSIGNMENT: It might be best summed up with this vision that was given to Eileen Wendorf: “During the morning worship, I saw columns and ranks of angels coming to our assembly. The Commander of the hosts was giving orders that new assignments of angels were to be released in our lives. They were going down each row, and the commander gave the number of new angels to be released in each person’s life for their ministry. Then I saw a train of camels bearing gifts for the bridal company. It was the Holy Spirit gifting as depicted in Genesis 24:7, with gifts for Isaac’s bride Rebekah, and brought to her by Abraham’s servant, Eleazar. The camels were carrying special gifts of gold, silver, jewels, and new clothing for our assembly. As Genesis 24:40 says that the angel went with Eleazar and to prosper his way, so the angels fulfilled this same mission this morning to us.”

ANGELS WERE THERE: It (the World Convention) truly was a grand event and I know that all heaven applauded.  On Friday morning of the convention I had a dream that I was already down in the ballroom and saw a glorious sight of people dressed in white. When I awoke, I dressed and went down to the ballroom expecting to see people in white, then the Lord said, “Wait and see.” As we entered into worship I was “lifted” up above the people for just a split second and then I saw it...everyone was in white but it wasn't the people....the room was filled with angels all in beautiful flowing white gowns and yet they were in their full battle array.  I stood in awe at the sight of them — some standing at attention as we sang, others dancing, and still others flying wildly around all having a grand time as our singing lifted them higher and higher.  Oh to be an artist at such times! PREPARE FOR A GREAT VISITATION FROM GOD: A very encouraging prophetic word, based on Isaiah 11:9 was: “I will do a new thing that has never been done. Watch and wait; and prepare for the day of My visitation which is near. This is a special and holy day—a day spoken of long ago, a day when My glory will fall like rain. It will fall in the most unusual places. People expect Me to come in certain ways, and certain places, but it will not be so. I will pour out of My Spirit like a gentle rain, and wash away that which is old and dry, and bring new life to My people who are called by My name in this time and in this day. For this is the day I have made to visit My children in a special and new way. I will not be in the fire, or in the flood, but I will come in a soft, gentle Spirit that will unite My body, and bring them together in the Spirit and in truth. This day I will be all that I am to My children—strength in the low times, joy in the journey, peace in the storm, healing in the dry places, and new wine for all times and all days. This is My day, I will show you great and mighty things that you do not know. I will show you who I am in new ways; and new things will begin to happen on the earth that you have not seen until this day and this time. This is My day, and My time to visit My people who will humble themselves and pray. Go forth in My love and in My peace”. ALSO, PREPARE FOR DAYS OF SHAKING: A prophetic word of warning was given to us through Earlene Y. Ford, “You demand comfort, convenience, and peace, and do not understand that I have planned difficulties for your benefit. While men cry peace and safety, the most difficult times will sweep the earth as this age comes to a close. Those whose theology assures them that they will be snatched away, need to realize that the difficulties are only the beginning of the birth pangs. Even if you are taken out at the beginning of the birth pangs, they will be beyond the theological grid of those who believe nothing bad should ever happen. Judgment begins at My house. The time of trouble is not coming as punishment; but to prepare you so that you will more than endure—you will shine as lights. While darkness is covering the earth, My glory is rising and appearing on My people. Judgment is meant to establish your life on My Kingdom, for it cannot be shaken. There is a purpose in your problems. I did not call you to be comfortable and prosperous; I called you to be strong in the faith and in the power of My might, and to push back the darkness. Through your wilderness, your faith in Me will be established, and strengthened so that when the whole world falls apart, you will not be moved. This world is not your source. I AM! And I have called My body to lead the way through the impending darkness. Push, again I say Push!”

AN ENCOURAGING REPORT OF THE MOVE OF GOD IN THE NATIONS: Every day another 74,000 people across the globe come to faith in Christ. An average of 3,500 new churches open every week around the world. From 1990 to 2000 the number of born-again believers in the world doubled!

BRAZIL: From 1992 to 2000 the evangelical population of Brazil doubled. Goals have been set for 250,000 congregations by 2010. Over 2000 Brazilian missionaries have been sent to 85 countries.

CHINA: In 1950, when China closed to missionaries, there were about one million Chinese believers. Today, there are an estimated 80 million believers, and 228,000 new Christians in China every day! There are as many followers of Christ in China as in North America. The Chinese government has printed 50 million Bibles over the past 20 years at its official Amity Press. The Bibles and New Testaments are distributed at 55,000 distribution points throughout the country. But still many in rural areas have no Bible or share handwritten portions among believers.

AFGHANISTAN: Until very recently, becoming a Christian was close to a death sentence. Now missionaries in Kabul report unprecedented openness and many new believers in the last two years. There were only 17 known Muslim background followers of Christ before 9 / ll. Today there are more than 10,000.

AFRICA: The church in Africa is growing four times faster than the general population. Sub-Saharan Africa is becoming a sending-base for missionaries to Islamic North Africa.

EGYPT: During the 1990’s, the Egyptian Bible Society used to sell about 3,000 copies of the JESUS film each year. Last year they sold 600,000 copies, plus 750,000 copies of the Bible on tape in Arabic, and about a half-million copies of the Arabic New Testament. A huge cave on the outskirts of Cairo accommodates the largest church in the Middle East; 10,000 meet weekly for worship, and a prayer conference there in 2005 hosted 20,000 believers.

GHANA: This West African country is where you’ll hear mostly Muslim names like Mohammed, Fatuma, or Achmed in church! The desperate need of churches is training and literature as Muslims come to faith in Christ at such a pace that in the entire country the percentage of Muslims has dropped by 25% in the past ten years.

SOUTHERN SUDAN: In 1960 only about 5% of Southern Sudan was Christian. Today, after decades of terrible warfare and persecution, the figure is close to 70%.

INDIA: In east India, 95% of Nagaland’s three million people confess Jesus as Lord. The Nagaland church recently vowed to send out 10,000 new missionaries to India and beyond.

IRAN: More Iranians came to Christ between 1980 and 2005 than the previous 1,000 years combined. At the time of the Iranian Revolution in 1979, there were possibly only 500 Shi’ite background followers of Christ. Today, many Iranian pastors suggest there may be as many as one million.

IRAQ: More than 5,000 Muslims have come to faith in Christ over the past 4 years of conflict. There are 14 new churches in Baghdad and dozens more in Kurdistan, some with up to 800 members.

NEPAL: In the early 1980s, there were only 75 known Nepali believers. Today there are an estimated 500,000 believers. From almost no churches 20 years ago, there are over 6,000 churches and house fellowships today.

TURKEY: One-third of the converts to Christianity in Turkey say they came to Christ because He came to them in a dream. God is at work even where there are no missionaries. (Sources available on request info@joshuaproject.net)

Only God knows the full report. Let us not be discouraged by all the “bad” news. Remember that God has the final word, and it is recorded in Revelation 11:15, “And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.”

None of us who were at the convention will ever forget the dynamic testimony of the two young former Shi’ite brothers who spoke on Friday night, sharing how Christ revealed Himself to them without human intervention. It is harvest time. Do not be discouraged. There are more souls coming to Christ in the 10/40 window than from the rest of the world 100 to one — even though less than 2% OF ALL MISSIONS GIVING IS DIRECTED TOWARD THAT PART OF THE WORLD. The church needs to take inventory on how it is using God’s money.
